Tony Christiansen Inspires

Today I have the opportunity to see Tony Christiansen. He is a big guy from New Zealand who lost both of his legs through a train accident when he was 9 years old. But it didn't stop him from achieving successes.

He is now a successful businessman, he is a motivational speaker who spoke all around the globe, he flies an pilot, he is a car race champion, he has a black-belt in taekwondo, and he also had climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro. That's a WOW, even for a complete guy, isn't it?

He admits that he was very nervous and very disappointed after the accident, but it didn't stop his passion on achieving, on being the best. He started doing things like normal people would. He soon learned to swim, practice taekwondo, doing sports, etc. And he proves that he can do everything, just because he BELIEVES he can, and he DO it. He believes that he CAN do it, even though he didn't KNOW how to do it.

So many people says something like 'You are so lucky Tony, you travel all around the world, doing all the things that normal people can't do' and he bluntly said 'Yeah, I'm so lucky because I lost my 2 legs'. Why do you need to have an accident first before we can achieve something in life? Do the best, and you will achieve everything you want in life.

At the end of the seminar Tony said we have to do our best to achieve our goals. Tomorrow may be too late. Do it now, do it the best way possible, and end the race as a winner.
